Keon Broxton, Triples Machine

Keon Broxton has tripled 14 times in 332 at-bats this year, the most in professional baseball. He is on pace for more than 20 triples, a feat that has been accomplished just four times since World War II in the majors. Let's investigate what makes Broxton such a triples machine.

Keon Broxton rarely batted leadoff in high school, generally slotting into the second or third spot in the lineup instead.  The Arizona Diamondbacks have been experimenting with Broxton in the leadoff role to take advantage of his terrific speed.
