Arizona Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers was among the movers and shakers at the winter meetings, adding five bullpen arms while all but guaranteeing a reduction in the team's offensive output by trading slugging third baseman Mark Reynolds.

Towers signed right-hander J.J.
