Biography:
Trent Oeltjen was added to the 40-man ropster and called up to th e big leagues on August 6th when Justin Upton went on the disabled list. Oeljen homered in his big league debut after going .300/.358/.505 in 106 games with the Reno Aces.

Oeltjen endured his worst professional season in 2007 before breaking out with his best pro season in 2008. Eligible for free agency in the offseason, Oeltjen decided to re-sign with the Diamondbacks. He is a non-roster invitee to big league camp and will represent Australia once again in the World Baseball Classic.
