2009 Ramirez has added quite a bit of muscle since signing as a non-drafted free agent in 2004. He was the lone Silver Hawks player with full-season experience to open the season, serving as a tutor, even though he was still mastering the english language himself. Ramirez got promoted to Visalia at the end of June.

2008

The switch-hitting Ramirez batted .277 in 65 games with the Yakima Bears. As a corner infielder, Ramirez will need to fill out his frame and develop more power to be taken seriously as a prospect. He may take a little longer to develop being a switch hitter, but he's working with hitting coach Francisco Morales for the third straight season to help stabilize his hitting mechanics from both sides of the plate.
