Westchester shortstop Chris Jacobs was selected in the 37th round of the 2009 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Projected as a center fielder, Jacobs hit 12 home runs this spring, including two out of Dodger Stadium in the City Division II championship game. He batted over .500 for the season.
