Biography:
2008 Highlights:
Emilio Bonifacio got the call to the big leagues on July 4th. He had hit .302 with a homer and 10 RBI for the Tucson Sidewinders, ranking second in the Pacific Coast League with 110 hits to teammate Jamie D'Antona. Both of those players were chosen to represent the Sidewinders in the PCL All-Star game... Bonaficio was dealt to the Nationals on July 22nd for reliever Jon Rauch. A little less than four months later (November 10th), the Nationals dealt Bonifacio along with minor leaguers Jake Smolinski and P.J. Dean to the Marlins for pitcher Scott Olsen and OF/1B Josh Willingham.
