2009
Ryan Cook began his first full professional season 5-0. Shortly after his first loss of the season, Cook was placed on the seven-day DL with a blister on his pitching hand. The sinker/slider pitcher had a 4.64 ERA in 33 innings at Yakima last year.
2008
Cook waited until the end of July until signing with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He made his professional debut with the Bears August third and allowed seven unearned runs in three innings. He logged an ERA over 5.00 in each of his three seasons at USC.
