| The D-backs went 30-20 (.600) when Eric Byrnes started last year and 52-60 (.464) when he did not. Even though Byrnes' offensive numbers were abhorrent, there may be some intangibles that his hustle and energy bring to the table that helps the team succeed.
2007 Highlights
* Became the first D-Back ever to hit 20 homers and steal 50 bases in one season
* Stole 30 consecutive bases from July 7 - September 17, the longest streak in the majors this year
* Hit .297 vs. RHP; his previous high was .260
* Ranked 4th in the NL with 12 outfield assists
