| Biography: |
| Winston "Ollie" Linton received a promotion to South Bend in late June despite only batting .246 with one homer in his first 16 pro games. The speedy 13th-round pick out of UC Irvine did steal eight bases in those 16 games, however. Linton will enjoy working with outfield/baserunning coordinator Brett Butler, who has considerable experience being underestimated because of his size. |
