| Biography: |
Michael Mee was drafted as a left fielder, but played exclusively at first base with the Yakima Bears. He batted .304 there with as many walks as strikeouts (28), which led to an OBP of .399. He failed to homer in 191 at bats, however.
He has been one of the best pure hitters in South Bend early in 2008, and his defense at first base has been exceptional. |
