| Hallberg was the third shortstop selected by the Diamondbacks in just the first nine rounds. This is not an indictment of the quality of shortstops within the organization, but rather a reflection of the organizational philosophy that it is easier to move someone from shortstop than to shortstop. Hallberg is a defensively minded shortstop who nevertheless hit .360 this year with the Seminoles. |
