Biography:
Drafted by the Diamondbacks in the 48th round of 2006 after a slightly down sophomore year that included a minor bout of tendonitis. He decided to return to Liberty for his Junior year, and subsequently went to Arizona in the 19th round of the 2007 draft. For the third straight season, he was among the Big South Conference leaders in wins and ERA.
