Biography:
Scouts have wildly differing accounts of Edward Easley, the 61st overall selection in the 2007 draft. Some believe that his impressive offensive numbers come bloated from the use of aluminum bats. Some report an arm that can barely get the ball to second base, while others report a pinpoint cannon. Clearly, the Diamondbacks feel that Easley's upside is such that he was worth selecting as their first position player this year.
