| Once a top prospect in the Cubs system, Cruz has been plagued by inconsistency. Traditionally better in the starter's role, Cruz came into his own as a reliever last season. There is no doubt to Cruz's talent, he regularly hits the upper 90s with movement, but harnessing an arm (and body) that has been compared to Pedro Martinez more than once is the key. |
