| Biography: |
| Hankerd was the first position player pick of the D'Backs in 2006, and had easily the most impressive season for any Diamondback drafted last year. Hankerd had a power explosion with USC last season, but showed himself to be more of a contact hitter with Yakima, hitting .384 before skipping Lo-A and moving all the way up to Lancaster in August. If he can exhibit both his high average and power stroke with the Oaks this season, look out. |
