Biography:

Selected by Diamondbacks in 12th round of 2004 draft out of the University of Arizona; signed June 30, 2004. Richard hasn't shown too much with the stick in his professional career, but he does a good dob behind the plate. He will be counted on to shape a young Silver Hawks pitching staff and continue to work with roomate and close friend Fank Curreri on defense.
