| Biography: |
| The slick fielding second baseman picked up another Gold Glove after the '06 season but was most notable for one of the best offensive seasons of his career. His 15 homers and .287 average allowed Bob Melvin to move Hudson around the lineup seemingly at will. Hudson signed a one-year deal in January, which despite his fantastic '06 surprised some who thought the D'Backs might turn second base over to youngster Alberto Callaspo after that rookie's eye-opening late season call up. |
