| Biography: |
| Montero is widely considered the best catching prospect in the organization, and was recently ranked by FoxSports.com's Dayn Perry as the 8th best in baseball. After earning a promotion to Triple-A earlier in the season, Montero will spend September with the big league club. Montero is expected to see the majority of the work behind the plate until Johnny Estrada returns to full strength. He'll likely inherit the role full time in 2007. |
