Biography:
What a long strange trip its been for Tony Pena. Certainly in the minors many players grow, mature, change, but few actually alter their identities. LITERALLY alter their identities. Tony Pena has. So, after a name and age change, three straight years at Double-A, Visa problems that cost him a full season, and arm trouble that prompted a move from the starting rotation to the bullpen, Tony Pena makes his debut with the D'Backs after Tony Clark was put on the 15 day DL. Will he stick around? That will depend completely on his performance.
