A look at the Diamondbacks prospects

Jaime D'Antona

Throws: R
Date of Birth: 05/12/1982
Birthplace: Trumbull,  CT
Experience: Prospect

Biography:
D'Antona was once one of the 'Three Amigos' along with Conor Jackson and Carlos Quentin, but a combination of poor strike zone recognition and injury has held him back, but a solid year this year could reestablish him the the top third base prospect in the system, and the only one with noticeable power. Unfortunately that power is the thing that has deserted the second round pick (2003) out of Wake Forest, who has never matched the 15 jacks he hit during his first pro season, at Short Season Yakima.
