| n 2004 the Diamondbacks took Stephen Drew in the first round, and then drafted pitcher after pitcher, and one of the best was Garrett Mock. After a start in short season Yakima, he was moved to South Bend to finish his first year in pro ball, and then last year he was 14-7 with an ERA just over 4.00 in the hitter friendly California League. This year at Tennessee Mock hope to continue his stellar strikeout totals (211 in 251.2 innings during his two year minor league career), but his focus will be going deeper into games (he averaged just under 6.1 innings pitched last year).
