| Once the future of the rotation Gonzalez is now fighting just to stay in the organization. Signed as a non-drafted free agent 17 year old back in 2000, he debuted with the big league club in 2003 to promising results, but had one of the most incredibly bad seasons in the history of baseball in 2004, going 0-9 with an ERA of 9.32. He has never regained his confidence since, and may be entering his last chance season. |
