| Biography: |
| Snyder was taken in the second round of the 2002 draft out of Houston. The Diamondbacks are pleased with his abilities, foreseeing him as a 20+ home run guy, and are particularly pleased with his defense and the way he handles pitchers. A wrist injury in 2003 slowed his numbers as he tried to come back too quickly, but was impressive enough in his call up to the Diamondbacks last season to give the front office a reason not pursue a catcher on the free agent market during the off season. |
