| Drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the 15th round of the 1993 amateur draft. Signed by Boston prior to 2003 and would go on to have the best season of his career. Won AL batting title, was sixth in OBP (.398), eighth in OPS (.938), and fifth in doubles (45). Has a team option for 2005. |
