The Smokies didn't make the playoffs, but about 2/3 of the squad did. It seemed for most of the season that Tennessee was a launching pad, not for opponents baseballs (as our Pitchers of the Year showed), but for careers. If a prospect is named Player of the Year, and isn't in Tennessee to see it, did it really happen?
