The FutureBacks Fifty: #23 Casey Daigle Premium Story

Casey Daigle's career path seemed perfectly obvious in 2004 when he first made the big leagues as part of the Diamondbacks staff. A first round pick (31st overall) in 1999 by the D'Backs, they saw a big, strong right hander with solid control and upside to his secondary pitches. Obviously, 2003 was not a fun season for anybody playing for, watching, or vaguely associated with the club, but for Daigle it was career changing.
