One thing we can be very sure of is that was not the reason the Diamondbacks took Rahl with their fifth round pick in the draft. Want a reason? How about 20 (as in homers his sophomore year) and 42 (as in stolen bases that same season. I don't care who you play with, those numbers make it more about who you'll play for.
