Urquidez Is Back Where He Belongs

After nearly a month-long scoreless streak in Hi-A Visalia, Jason Urquidez skipped Double-A and has gone on to pitch well in Triple-A Tucson. Urquidez spoke with us about the jump in competition, his desire to try starting again, and his repertoire post-labrum surgery.

Jason Urquidez posted a 2.86 ERA in 34.2 Hi-A innings before earning his promotion to the Triple-A squad.  Although California League opponents batted under .200 against him, Urquidez wasn't anticipating a promotion, much less one that would skip over an entire minor league level.
