We would have to be crazy to rank a soft-throwing right hander as the 24th-best Arizona Diamondbacks prospect... or would we? Valdez has begun his 2008 season by winning his first three starts, posting an ERA of 2.00, a WHIP of 0.93, and a BAA of .191.
