Just to get it out of the way quickly, yes, Chris Rahl went to the same high school, Great Bridge, as Justin Upton. One thing we can be very sure of is that was not the reason the Diamondbacks took Rahl with their fifth round pick in the draft. Want a reason? How about 20 (as in homers his sophomore year) and 42 (as in stolen bases that same season. I don't care who you play with, those numbers make it more about who you'll play for. | |
