Yakima sends 6 to All-Star Game

Erik Schindewolf will put on his newest uniform in the Northwest League All Star Game. The Yakima Bears 2B will be joined by four others, though a total of six were selected to play.

The Yakima Bears have six players elected to compete in the Northwest (Short Season A) League All-Star game, but with SS Mark Reynolds promoted to the South Bend (Low A) Silverhawks of the Midwest League it appears only five will make the trip.  In addition to participating in the game OF/1B Chris Carter was selected to compete in the Home Run Derby.
