Over the past couple of days, the Arizona Diamondbacks have reassigned 21
players from major league camp to the minor leagues. Interestingly, they
have also promoted one player from minor league camp to big league camp after he
showed up for spring training in outstanding condition.

Assigned to Hi-A Visalia: RHP Yonata Ortega and C Rossmel Perez
Assigned to Low-A South Bend: RHP Juan Jaime
Reassigned to minor league camp: OF Collin Cowgill, 1B Paul Goldschmidt,
SS Chris Owings, RHP Jarrod Parker, OF A.J. Pollock, RHP Dan Stange, and LHP
Wade Miley
Reassigned to major league camp: OF Adam Eaton
There are now 40 players remaining in major league camp, including the
following eight non-roster invitees: 1B Russell Branyan, OF Adam Eaton, LHP Mike Hampton, OF Wily Mo Pena, C P.J. Pilittere, IF Cody Ransom, RHP Rafael Rodriguez, and RHP Brian Sweeney.
